Monday, January 21: NO Post 5 Luncheon due to Martin Luther King Day observance.

Monday, January 28: 11 am Post 5 Lunch at the Piccadilly Cafeteria.

Wednesday, January 30: 5th Wednesday Food Truck at Operation Stand Down. Volunteers needed; let the Post Adjutant know if you can join us (615-429-0342).  Meet at the Nashville Food Project house at 3605 Hillsboro Pike, Nashville, beside Woodmont Christian Church. Call 615-460-0172 for info.

Sunday, February 3: Four Chaplains Sunday (USAT Dorchester, February 3, 1943.

Monday, February 4: 10 am, Post 5 Executive Committee meeting, Piccadilly Cafeteria; 11 am, Post 5 Luncheon.  This date is also the USO birthday!   Thank you USO for supporting our troops!

Monday, February 11: Post 5 Luncheon, Piccadilly Cafeteria.

Monday, February 18: NO luncheon due to Presidents' Day observance. 

Monday, February 25: Post 5 Luncheon, Piccadilly Cafeteria.  A Life of Photography.  Adjutant Ed Evans is a Syracuse University-trained photojournalist who spent 30 years with the USMC and 17 with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.  Along the way he got a few good shots he will share with Post 5 members at their Monday Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., on Feb. 25th, at the Piccadilly, 834 Murfreesboro Rd.

Monday, March 4: Post 5 Executive Committee meeting, 10 a.m., Piccadilly.

Monday, March 4: Post 5 Luncheon, Piccadilly.  Featured speaker will be Ron Leonard and his Therapy dog, Molly.  Ron and Molly have worked with many veterans and First Responders.

Saturday, March 9:  Post 5 General Meeting, Amerigo's on West End.

Monday, March 11: Monday Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., Piccadilly.  

Monday, March 18:  Monday Luncheon, 11:30 a.m., Piccadilly.

March 24th is the night of Post 5’s 100th Anniversary celebration as we play host to all District Posts at the Inn at Opryland, 2401 Music Valley Dr., Nashville, Tenn., from 6 to 8:30 pm, featuring music by the fabulous 21-piece dance band The Moonlighters.  Total price for the dinner-dance is $49 per person.  Make checks payable to Flair Tours and mail them to Post 5 Commander Carl Stasiunas, P.O. Box 17372, Nashville, Tenn. 37217.

100th Anniversary Celebration of the American Legion... Sunday, March 24

Plan now to join Nashville Post 5 that evening for a wonderful dinner and dancing at the Inn at Opryland. Only $49 per person. 

A list of upcoming events will be distributed each Monday at the Lunch Club and made available on the Internet on Fridays. If you have an announcement of an upcoming event, please call the Post 5 office at 615-254-0644 NLT noon on Thursday.
